Dave Aikins es un talentoso ilustrador freelance que se ha ganado cierta fama en el mundillo a la hora de dibujar hiperrealistas retratos de multitud de personajes provenientes del cine, del cómic o de los mass media, donde ofrece un trabajo de gran profesionalidad, con dibujos de gran calidad y de un gran realismo.
Su obra como ilustrador de toda índole de productos, a través de su Let's Draw Studio, la podemos encontrar en multitud de trabajos publicitarios y de diseño realizados para innumerables clientes como pueden ser Nickelodeon, Simon & Schuster, Random House, Scholastic, Hasbro, Mattel/Fisher-Price, Procter & Gamble, The Bradford Exchange, Hawthorne Village, Boy’s Life, Chase Bank, McDonald’s, Comair/Delta Air Lines, Stouffer’s, Nestle, Wilton, Twilight Creations, etc...
Me puse en contacto con él y le encargué que me dibujara a Chris Hemsworth en su caracterización más conocida en la gran pantalla como Thor, más concretamente el de Thor Ragnarok... una blank cover utilizando diferentes materiales (Copic markers- Neutral Grays 0,2,4,6,8 plus prismacolor white y black pencils, y Signo white gel pen).
